Senator Supporting Bill to Aid Pairings Wine Incubator

Senator Sherrod Brown visited Ashtabula County on April 10 with an event at Ferrante's Winery in Harpersfield. The event highlighted the Senator's support of the Business Incubator Promotion Act, which ensures that areas most in need of EDA funds have opportunities to receive those funds. It also promotes business incubators by both constructing new incubators and expanding and supporting existing incubators.

The legislation would provide a potential resource for the Pairings Wine and Culinary Center. The proposed 38,000 square foot facility in historic Geneva, Ohio will offer incubator facilities for start-up wineries, premier restaurant and banquet facilities, cooking classes, winemaking demonstrations, educational culinary demonstrations, office space and gift shop focusing on Ohio products.

More information is available on the Pairings website.
